About the Founder | CEO
Benjamin Barnett
Working at a local commercial dairy further expanded Barnett’s understanding of large-scale agricultural practices and highlighted the stark differences between corporate farming and the hands-on approach of smaller family farms. Barnett served as a crop advisor and animal nutritionist at Martin’s Elevator for over a decade, where his expertise in agronomy and animal nutrition enabled him to help other farms optimize crop yields and improve animal health.
Recognizing the urgent need for family farms to secure financial stability, Barnett launched Family Farm Direct — a company dedicated to fostering direct connections between farms and homes.
